Obituary of Carol Ann Smith
Carol Ann Smith, 68, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Robert Wood John University Hospital Somerset in Somerville.
Born in Somerville, Carol resided in Middlesex for many years.
She was collector of Precious Moment as well as Disney collectables.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Edgar of 36 years; brother, John Gildea and his wife Mary of North Attleboro, MA., sisters in law, Marion Pearce of Middlesex and Alwayne Scott and her husband Butch of South Bound Brook and nephews, Alexander Gildea and his wife Chelsea of North Attleboro, MA. and Gregory Gildea of Boston, MA. Also surviving is a great niece, Everly Gildea.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 beginning at 1pm followed by funeral services at 3:45pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Rd. Middlesex, NJ 08846.
Carol’s cremated remains will be placed to rest at on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Resurrection Burial Park.
