Obituary of Geraldine Edith DiGiovanni

Parlin – Geraldine Edith DiGiovanni, 75, passed away early morning, November 9, 2021 at Care One in Bridgewater.

 

Born in Newark, Geri resided in Belleville and Laurence Harbor before settling to Parlin in 1995.  Director of Perioperative Services for Raritan Bay Medical Center, Geri worked for the hospital system for over 45 years before retiring. 

 

Geri enjoyed crocheting, especially baby blankets for family and friends and watching the New York Jets and New York Mets. After retiring, Geri enjoyed taking trips down to Atlantic City as well as visiting Ireland and Italy.

 

Surviving are her son, John DiGiovanni and his wife, Lisa as well as her granddaughter, Shauna.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 8:30AM in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex NJ 08854 followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Mount Virgin, Middlesex at 9:30AM.

 

Cremation will follow privately.

 

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 6-8PM.
