Obituary of Frank Addario

Francesco (Frank) Addario 1938 - 2021

Frank Addario left us peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at home in Samsula, FL. Born in Castel Di Sasso, Italy, Frank came to the US at the age of 18 and became a US Citizen in 1958.  After migrating to the US, he resided in Plainfield where he worked as a baker, before moving to South Plainfield where he held several factory positions.  He built his own business, Frank Addario & Son Landscaping which he retired from prior to retiring to Florida.

Mr. Addario enjoyed travelling, taking cruises and trips to Italy with his beautiful wife.  His biggest reward was being a loving husband and proud grandfather and great grandfather.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Theresa Schiano Addario, his parents, Rosa and Anthony Addario, brother Carmine Addario and sister Mary Villano, surviving are his 2 sisters Jessie Scirocco and Gina Addario, son, Anthony Addario and his wife Kelly of South Plainfield; daughters, Rosa Addario of Port Orange, FL and Adelina Pelican and her husband Tom of Branchburg; grandchildren, Frank and his wife Jan Marie, Breanna, Katie and Joseph and great grandchildren, Vincent, Robert and Samantha. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 beginning at 9:00am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, South Plainfield.
