Obituary of Michael Iarrapino
Edison – Michael Iarrapino, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Jersey City, he resided in Rahway prior to settling to Edison in 1967.
Michael had been employed as a pipefitter for Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick for many years prior to his retirement. He served as the Vice President of their Credit Union and had also served as Shop Steward. A hard working man, he also owned and operated the former Birchwood Limo Service.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose Marie (Amabile), dear granddaughter, Nicole and his sister, Dorothy.
He is survived by three sons; Michael and his wife Gail, Edward and his wife, Rina and Brian Iarrapino.
He is also survived by five grandchildren; Michael, Nicholas, Joseph, Matthew and Erika.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 9:00AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in St. Helena’s Church, 950 Grove Avenue, Edison, NJ 08820 at 10AM.
Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 3-7 PM in the funeral home.
