Obituary of Marie Atkins

Marie Atkins, 91 years old, from Middlesex County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in her home.

Marie was born on July 10, 1930, in St. Lucia. She was predeceased by her mother and granddaughter.  She is survived by her children; Eunice, Andra, Wendella, Paula, Richard, Clarence, Cassius, Carol, Carlotta, and Celeste. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Marie was a bright light in this world and will be deeply missed by all.   ^“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” 1 Corinthians 15:52.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 12 PM in Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Piscataway.  Burial will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
