Obituary of Justin Daniel Clark
Beloved, first born child, Justin Daniel Clark, of Hillsborough/Raritan, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:15 pm at the tender age of 17 in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick New Jersey. Justin was a Junior at Hillsborough High School, Class of 2024.
People often commented on his selfless sense of compassion and kindness. He had a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up any room. He had an infectious and charismatic personality. The captivating charm of his manners and conversation is attested by all who knew him. He cared about his family and friends in the most genuine way. He was always willing to lend a helping hand by offering a listening ear, a smile, or words of encouragement. He was a tech savvy genius with an old loving soul.
Justin was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved riding 4 wheelers with his uncles and grandfather, playing basketball, roller hockey, and street hockey. He loved watching sports, especially his love and passion for the New Jersey Devils. He loved gaming with his friends, listening to music, had a love for animals, and knew all the ins and outs about sneakers and shopping for them as well.
Justin's fondest moments he loved and cherished was his time spent with his Mema and Poppy. He loved hanging out with his Mema baking and really enjoyed eating her cooking. She was his greatest role model and highly respected the values she instilled in him.
Justin is survived by his Mother, Nicole Meeks and husband Gene Meeks; Father, James Clark and girlfriend Angelica Romano and his two younger brothers, Aiden (11) and Ryder (2); Maternal grandmother, Kathy “Mema” Lopes and Paternal grandmother, Pamela Clark. Also survived by are uncles and aunts AJ Lopes, Dennis Lopes and Elmer Jacson, Richard and Kerri Clark, Jeremy and Melissa Clark, Lisa Ferraro, as well as cousins, extended family and many friends.
Predeceased by Justin’s loving grandfathers Dennis “Poppy” Lopes and Walton Clark.
In Lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made in Justin’s name to the Plainfield Area Humane Society, 75 Rock Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07063 in honor of Justin’s love for giving to the animal community. The website is www.PAHS.org.
Those of you who knew Justin, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. We love and miss you so much already Justin.
Family and friends may gather at McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 4 - 9pm
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10am followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery 1100 E. Broad Street Westfield, NJ.
Masks are mandatory and social distancing is recommended.
