Green Brook, NJ – William “Bill” P. Ditty, 53, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in ProMedica Total Rehab in Piscataway.

 

Born in Plainfield, Bill is a lifelong resident of Piscataway, settling to Green Brook where he raised his two sons.  A graduate from Kean University, Bill was dedicated to his job and had worked for Gannett for 32 years.  He held the position of Eastern Seaboard Regional Automotive Sales Manager.

 

He had an impact on many families in his community through his love of coaching.  He coached both baseball and football. It wasn’t always about the win but about enjoying the fun of the game. 

 

Bill loved taking vacations with his family & friends, fishing, gardening, and a good game of cornhole. He also loved his Mets & Giants and always believed this would be their year. 

 

Bill loved his family. They meant the world to him.  Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Deanna (Ambicki) and his two sons, Ryan and Scott.

 

Bill will truly be missed by many colleagues, friends and family.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854 followed by burial in Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway.

 

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5-8PM.
