Maryann McGovern passed away Thursday February 24 peacefully with her loved ones by her side. Maryann spent her career helping others in underserved communities as a Nurse Practitioner and devoted her life to it. She was always looking out for others and putting their needs first. In her free time she loved gardening, traveling, crocheting, entertaining, reading and being with the ones she loved.

She leaves behind her beloved children- sons Matthew & Timothy Pietrowski, daughter Maura Pietrowski & son in law Mike Lauricella and daughter in law Stacie DeMicco. Her loving partner Jim Fisher, brother in law Tom Peaver and nephews David Font and Brian Peaver.

She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren Drew Pietrowski and Gabby Lauricella. She absolutely adored being their Grammy and showed them unconditional love.

Maryann is predeceased by her parents John & Mary McGovern, brother Jackie McGovern and sisters Susan Peaver and Denise McGovern.

She also leaves behind countless close family members and life long friends who were also like family.

Services will be Tuesday March 1st 4pm to 8 pm at Middlesex Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to The American Cancer Society.
