Obituary of Linda A Burdick
Linda Burdick, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at her home in Croghan, NY.
Born to the late Raymond and Bertha MacDougall, Linda was raised in Clark, NJ. It was here that she lived with her husband, Doug, before retiring to Croghan four years ago.
Linda was a medical transcriptionist for several facilities before finishing her career with NJ Orthopedic Sports and Spine Institute, in Edison, NJ. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her dogs, Jasmine and Whiskey Boy, but cherished the time spent with her husband the most.
Predeceased by her parents and brother, Raymond MacDougall, she is survived by her husband Doug Burdick; children, William Waterson and Dina Amorosa and her husband James; and stepchildren, Daniel Burdick and his wife Elizabeth, Jonathan Burdick and Marguerite Burdick. She will also be missed by her grandchildren William, Raicheal, and Cora and brothers, George Fredrick and his wife Linda, and Steve MacDougall; and his wife Diane, and sister-in-law Linda MacDougall, along with a host of extended relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 4 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 10 AM. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 9:15 AM.
Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, 350 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the Burdick family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in Linda’s name
