Obituary of Mary Wrublevski
Mary (Mame) Wrublevski, 99, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Sunrise Assisted Living in Shrewsbury.
Born and raised in Carteret, Mrs. Wrublevski settled to South Plainfield in 1955.
Mary took particular enjoyment spending time with family. She loved being surrounded by all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever possible. She also loved the relationships she had with her many nieces and nephews who loved and respected her in return. Mary cooked the best tasting dishes. Her secret ingredient was love. She also loved to travel, play the slots, take care of her family as well as devote time to her church. While Mary’s kindness and caring will be missed by all of us, she will always be in our hearts.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 75 years, Frank; sister, Sophia Chabena; brothers, Myron, Basil and Harry Wolansky and son in- law, John Bannon.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Bannon of Red Bank, Nancy Grabie and her husband Alan of South Plainfield and son, Frank and his wife Mickey also of South Plainfield; grandchildren, Shawn Bannon (Vanessa), Tara Doyle (Jason), Stephanie Rizk (Tom), Nichole Wrublevski and Frank Wrublevski III (Laura) and great grandchildren, Ryan, Mason, Sophia, Cora and Declan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 4-8pm with Parastas services beginning at 7pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 10 am at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 645 Roosevelt Ave. Carteret, NJ 07008.
Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
