Obituary of Patricia M. Foerch Hogan

Patricia Foerch Hogan passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family. 

Born in Perth Amboy, she grew up in Woodbridge, the third of four children of the late Richard and Inez (Bird) Foerch.  She graduated both St. James Elementary School in Woodbridge and St. Mary High School in Perth Amboy.

Lovingly known to all as Patti, she spent her career in the hospitality business holding jobs of increasing responsibility throughout the years.  Hospitality came easily to Patti as she kept a lovely home where she welcomed friends and family.  Patti’s kindness was known to all, whether it was taking her delicious homemade dishes to someone feeling under the weather, helping a neighbor run errands, taking in homeless animals or collecting blankets for the local animal shelter.  Patti was always the first to step up and offer help and support wherever she saw the need.

Patti was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who showed us her love in a hundred different ways, both big and small.  She will be missed dearly.

Patti is survived by her husband of 34 years, Daniel Hogan, her son, Richard Hogan, and his girlfriend, Lauren Bolton, all of South Plainfield.

Patti also leaves behind her brothers Robert Foerch and Richard Foerch (Susan) of Woodbridge and her sister, Catherine (Barry) Pavelec and their daughter, Cienna, of Kingston. 

She was predeceased by her parents and her infant twin sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 4 to 7 at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ, 07080. 

Internment will be private.
