Obituary of Bobbie V. Wuest

South Plainfield - Bobbie V. (Newsome) Wuest, 91, died on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Parker at River Road in Piscataway.

Born and raised in Gibson, Georgia, Bobbie lived in Edison for over 20 years prior to living in South Plainfield.

Mrs. Wuest worked as a waitress for the former Bamburgers, now Macy’s Department store at Menlo Park Mall in Edison for many years and also waitressed at Snuffy’s Steakhouse and Pantagis Renaissance in Scotch Plains.

She is predeceased by her husband Ralph who died in 2001; parents, Louie and Gladys Newsome and by her brother Fay Newsome.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter Deborah Starr, three granddaughters; Tina Huber and husband Michael, Traci Maisonet and husband Rafael and Tiffany Karwowski and husband Eric; eight great grandchildren, Tori, Michael, John, Colby, Gia, Ralphie, Katie, Summer and a great granddaughter on the way.

Visitation will be held on Monday morning, November 6, 2023 at 10:30AM.  Funeral services will begin at 11:30 followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
