Matthew Henry

October 30, 1967 – August 1, 2024

Matthew Henry, 56, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born in Bordentown, Matthew resided in South Plainfield for over 24 years before recently settling in Belle Mead, NJ.

A devoted truck driver for Taylor Oil in Somerville, he worked for the company for over 20 years.

Gatherings with family and friends were important to him; Matthew made it a point to include activities that everyone could enjoy. Some of his favorites were hosting pig roasts, or playing horseshoes, pool, and cornhole. He also enjoyed anything adrenaline-boosting, such as riding his motorcycle. Matt put a smile on everyone’s face; he was always the life of the party.

Surviving are his wife Sharon Henry; his daughters Madison Henry and Alyssa Henry; as well as his two sisters Pam Henry and Kelly Caulfield-Fernandez; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering open to public will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4-8 PM at the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
