Obituary of John Ulyak

Piscataway – John Ulyak, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville.

Born in New Brunswick to the late John and Delia (DiasOliveira), John graduated from South Plainfield High School in 1971.  John currently worked as a forklift operator for Marino/Ware in South Plainfield.

An avid sports fan, John enjoyed watching NASCAR with his beloved dog, Zoey.

Predeceased by nephew Ronald Rivera.

Survived by his sister Alice Rivera, brother Paul Ulyak and wife Susan Ulyak; nephews Michael Rivera and Antonio Ulyak; nieces Alicia Ramos and husband Oscar Ramos, Deeana Ulyak and husband Mike Makmur, and Paula Ulyak; great nieces Eva and Olivia Ramos; and great nephew Oszkar Ramos.

Family and friends may gather on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10-11AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854, funeral services will begin at 11AM.

Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
