Obituary of Theodore Ferrante

Theodore Ferrante South Plainfield - Theodore Ferrante, 88 , died on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Born in New York City, he had resided in South Bound Brook and Plainfield before settling to South Plainfield 53 years ago. Theodore was employed as a quality control chief inspector at General Electric Precision Part - Operations in Springfield, NJ for 27 years. He also worked for Hamilton Electric Corp. and retried after 3 years. In addition Mr. Ferrante was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. He is predeceased by his sister Theresa Caslow and his brothers Anthony and Felix. Surviving are his wife of 56 years Virginia (Paoletti) his daughter Nancy Appice and her husband Matthew of Tamp Bay, Fl., his brother Nicholas of Piscataway and his 2 grandchildren; Gina Hogan and her husband Rob and Michael Appice. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 4-8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the South Plainfield Rescue Squad.
