Antonetta Maria Patella Pittstown, NJ - Antonetta Maria (Giammarese) Patella passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown with her family by her side. Born in Newark, NJ, Antonetta moved to Metuchen with her husband to raise their family. She retired from Thayer Labs & Revlon in Metuchen where she worked on the Assembly Line. After her husband Louis passed away in 1985, she moved to South Plainfield where she was an active member of the community. She was a long time member of the Metuchen Italian American Club, where she served as Treasurer and the South Plainfield Senior Citizens Club. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Antonetta is predeceased by her husband Louis, her brothers Peter & Salvatore Giammarese and by her sisters Rose Greco, Rosalie Powell and Josephine Giammarese. She leaves behind her children; Matthew and his wife Tina of Somerville, Joseph of Florida, Louis and his wife Michele of North Haledon and her daughter Donna Pirrotti and her husband Michael of Milford, NJ. She will be missed by her siblings Francis Ondeyka of Barneget and Margaret Balz of Cedar Knolls along with ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 beginning 9:15 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
