Genevieve A. Miller Hillsborough, NJ - Genevieve A. (Matybel) Miller, 95, died on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Raritan Health & Extended Care Center in Raritan. Born in Scranton, Pa., Mrs. Miller grew up in Scranton, later moving to Jersey City and had resided in South Plainfield for 38 years before settling to Hillsborough with her daughter in 1990. Mrs. Miller had been a homemaker and an active communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and a member Rosary Altar Society. She is also a former member of the South Plainfield Senior Citizens. Mrs. Miller enjoyed Bingo and had spent numerous hours gambling in Atlantic City. She is predeceased by her husband, Paul who died in 1982, her grandson, John Jaghab, great-grandson William Billy Miller, her four sister and three brothers. Surviving are her daughter, Joan A. Kosensky and her husband Wayne of Hillsborough and her son, Robert Miller and his wife Kathy of Metuchen. Also surviving is her sister and Wanda Orenick of Hawaii along with her five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 beginning 9:15am in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August .9, 2010 from 3-7pm.
