Obituary of Evelyn Savidge

Evelyn Savidge North Plainfield, NJ - Evelyn (Lanzi) Savidge, 86, died on Friday, June 26, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Trenton, Evelyn has lived in Pennington, Clinton, Washington, VT, Arnold, MD and has been a resident of North Plainfield since 2003. Evelyn enjoyed swimming, loved sports; especially tennis and football, and could be found at the beach in her spare time. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Evan Savidge who died January 9, 2001. Evelyn leaves behind her children; Robert Savidge and his wife Deborah Schermerhorn of Bethesda, MD and Donna Lynn Tingley and her husband Don of North Plainfield; her five grandchildren; Sheri Goodman, Kevin Krzykwa, and Nicole, Meagan and Shane Savidge and by his great-grandchildren Zachary and Aiden Goodman. She also leaves behind her sister Rena Domanski of Hamilton Twsp.. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, July 2, 2009 beginning 1:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church in Pennington. Cremation services were handled by McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Special Olympics Wake County, 2401 Wade Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27607, Attn: Brian Philpot would be appreciated.
