Clark - Joseph D. Ventre, 76, died on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at home.
Born and raised in Newark, Joe has resided in Clark for the past 50 years.
He worked as a Supervisor with DuPont in Newark for 30 years and served with the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Korean Conflict.
Joe is pre-deceased by his brother Frank Ventre.
Surviving are his wife Carmella (Mammano), his daughter Catherine DeFrancesco and her husband Ron, his son Joseph R. Ventre, and by his granddaughter Melissa Stivale.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at a 10:30 am in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
Entombment will follow in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 4 - 8 pm in the funeral home
