Dorothy Geneski Spring Hills, Fl - Dorothy Geneski, formerly of South Plainfield, passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 at her residence in Spring Hill Florida. She was born in New Jersey and lived there until retiring to Florida 7 years ago. Dorothy was a graduate of the Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing and worked in that profession throughout her life. She was head nurse in the maternity ward at Perth Amboy General Hospital for a number of years. Catholic by faith, Mrs, Geneski attended Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield for many years. Know as "Mimi" to her grandchildren, she is survived by her daughter Donna Burns and her husband Barry of Iselin, NJ. 6 Grandchildren: Tracey Miello and her husband Stephen of Heightstown, Barry Burns Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Sean Burns of Sewaren and, Paul IV, Robyn, and Benjamin Geneski all of Forked river. Also surviving are 2 Great Grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Paul N. Geneski Jr, her daughter Claire Geneski, her son Paul Geneski, III and her sister Ida Mae Mason. A Memorial service will take place on Friday, September 28, 2007 from 5-7 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals , 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Interment of her cremated remains will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11:30 AM in the family plot at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Donations in her memory may be to the American Heart Association
