Pauline T. Winkelholz "Dolly" South Plainfield - Pauline T. "Dolly" (Braco) Winkelholz, 85, died on Friday, March 21, 2008 in the Haven Hospice at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born and raised in Plainfield, Dolly had resided there before settling to South Plainfield 55 years ago. After the death of her husband, George on March 15, 1986, Dolly maintained her home before moving in with her daughter, Georgeann and her family 9 years ago. A sales clerk for the former Alexander's Department store in Menlo Park Mall in Edison. Dolly enjoyed bowling for over 50 years with her sister at Stelton Lanes and enjoyed sharing her time with her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved friends, Joanne Kronowski, Jennifer Oranchak and Louis Gall. Dolly was a religious women who attended daily mass. She is a former communicant and member of the Altar Rosary Society at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in South Plainfield. More recently, she has been a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield and would also attend mass at The Chapel at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. In addition to her husband, George, Dolly is predeceased by her sisters, Mary Lemmo, Katherine Veltre, Betty Campanella and her brother, Joseph Braco. Surviving are her two daughter, Georgeann DiGrazia. and her long time companion, Bill Cochrane of South Plainfield and Barbara Markowitz and her husband, John Pitts of Hunterdon County. Her grandchildren, Georgeann Larsen and her husband Jaime, Nick DiGrazia, Stephanie Markowitz and her husband Jorge, Jonathan and Robert Markowitz. Also surviving is her beloved great granddaughters, Mckenzie and Harlee Rose. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by A 10:00 AM funeral mass in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 4 - 8 PM in the funeral home. Donation in her memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Foundation, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
