Ann R. Orzel
South Plainfield - Ann R. Orzel (Juzwiak), 86, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at JFK Medical Center in Edison
Born and raised in Wilkes Barre, Pa., Ann lived in South Plainfield for the past 56 years.
A member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield, Mrs. Orzel was also a member of the Sacred Heart School PTA. An avid cook and baker, Mrs. Orzel was a longtime volunteer of the Sacred Heart Funstival where she cooked.
Ann worked at the former Teppers Department Store in Plainfield for 13 years as sales clerk In addition, Ann was a former director and life member of the Polish National Home in South Plainfield.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Edward who passed away in 1980 and by all of her brothers and sister.
Surviving is her daughter Dr. Diane Russo and her husband Louis of Marrietta, Georgia, her son Edward of South Plainfield and her granddaughter Sheri Russo also of Marrietta, Georgia. Also surviving is her nephew Eugene Mosley and his wife Ilisa of Princeton, her great niece Norah and her great nephew Hunter.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow in Holy redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 3- 7 PM in the funeral home.
