Julia Hicks
Piscataway - Julia (Valentinuzzi) Hicks, 88, died on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Care One at the Highlands in Edison.
Born and raised in Plainfield Julia resided in Piscataway for nearly 70 years.
A graduate of Plainfield High School, Mrs. Hicks was very active participating in the woman's sporting program.
She was an avid yankees fan and enjoyed bird watching, particularly the Cardinal.
Surviving are her daughter Dolores Jantausch and her husband Hank of Merrimack, NH, her son Charles Hicks and his wife Rosemary of Valencia, CA and by her 2 grandchildren; Brian and David Jantausch. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 beginning at 6:00 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield and will conclude at 9:00 PM.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Julia
