Marie DiMaio
Toms River - Marie (Brasso) DiMaio, 76, died on Friday April 16, 2010 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Born and raised in Newark, Marie lived in Metuchen and Edison prior to moving to Toms River 12 years ago.
For many years Mrs. DiMaio worked as a beautician from her home.
A devout bingo player, Marie also enjoyed playing poker and traveling to Atlantic City.
She is predeceased by her husband Joseph, who died in 2004.
Surviving are her daughter Francine Tramutola and her husband Kenny of South Plainfield, her loving granddaughter Danielle Marie, her sister, Florence Colavito and her husband George of Oakhurst and her brother, Anthony Brasso and his wife Dina. Also surviving are many of her loving and caring friends in the Toms River area.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals,
2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080
. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield.
