Obituary of Paula L. Ryan

Paula L. Ryan South Plainfield - Paula L. (Danik) Ryan, 64, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark. Born in Elizabeth, Paula grew up in Roselle Park and settled to South Plainfield in 1985. Paula worked as a Conference Coordinator for UMDNJ in Piscataway for several years prior to her retirement. She enjoy trips to Atlantic City, camping and being surrounded by her family. Mrs. Ryan is predeceased by her husband the late Phil Ryan, her father Frank Danik and a brother Greg Danik. Surviving is her daughter; Colleen Grossenbacher and her husband Warren of Pennsylvania, her mother Betty Danik of South Plainfield, Kerri Ryan of Maine, Jay Ryan and his wife Hannah of Massachusetts, two sisters; Maryellen Strauss and her husband Julian of Pennsylvania and Diane Danik of South Plainfield and her bother Steven Danik and his wife Lynne of Milford. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home
