Highbridge - Susie DiMeglio, 86, died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at her daughter's home.
Born and raised in Newark, Susie resided in South Amboy and Orange before settling to South Plainfield forty five years ago.
Susie loved to shop and could not be found without a pair of earrings on. She also enjoyed cooking baking and collecting trinkets.
She is predeceased by her husband of sixty years who died in 2009; Ulysses, a great grandson; Stephen Austin Maszczak, daughter-in-law; Tricia DiMeglio, three sisters and a brother.
Surviving are three children; Carmine DiMeglio of State College, PA; Carol Sue Maszazak and husband Pete of Highbridge and Joseph DiMeglio of Metuchen. She will also be missed by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass at 10AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa, South Plainfield.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6-9PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made a charity of one's choice
