Obituary of Marie A. Polidori

South Plainfield - Marie A. (Olson) Polidori, 89, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Plainfield, Marie settle to South Plainfield in 1952. Mrs. Polidori worked for the former United National Bank in Plainfield prior to her retirement. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing, trips to Atlantic City and she adored her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband John who died this past December, a sister Joan Diller and by a sister in-law Ann Olson. Surviving are three daughters; Jane DeFalco and her husband Nicholas, Barbara Coppola and her husband Jay all of South Plainfield and Linda Johnson and her husband Jeffrey of Brick, two sisters; Eva Fisher of Middlesex and Emily Jiovino and her husband Vincent of Bedminster, her brother Daniel Olson of South Plainfield, brother in law Charles Diller also of South Plainfield, nine grandchildren; Nicholas, Daniel, Joseph, John Michael and his wife Amy, Zachary, Jaclynn, Kristin and Alissa and three great grandchildren; Olivia, Maya and Eli. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and little Lily Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, at 10:30am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the funeral home.
