South Plainfield - Mickelina Lebiak, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Born and raised in Newark, Mickelina settled to South Plainfield in 1955.
A mother at heart, she enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren. Mickelina took pride in crocheting blankets, cooking and baking for her family. She was also an avid collector of cookie jars.
Predeceased by her husband who died in 1991 Kostanty "Gus"; surviving are her three children, Gus Lebiak and wife Stephanie of Mahwah, Debbie Saparito and husband, John of Fords and Donna Fox and husband Paul of Broadway. She will also be missed by her six grandchildren, Michele, Jason, Jennifer, Jessica, Joseph and Thomas.
Mickelina's funeral was held privately and under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals
