Obituary of Raymond J Heaney

Piscataway - Raymond J. Heaney Jr., 54, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 21, 2014 at RWJUH in New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, Raymond was a lifelong resident of Piscataway, graduating from St. Pius X High School in 1978. He then graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange in 1982, with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and worked for AT&T in Morristown. A communicant of Our Lady of Fatima in Piscataway, Raymond volunteered his services for various charitable organizations and was a two-term consecutive Exhausted Ruler for the Dunellen Elks Lodge 1488. Surviving are his beloved parents, Raymond Sr. and Helen (Jankowski); brother, Ronald and wife Penny of Sayerville, sister, Sheryl and husband Todd Ritter of Millstone Township; nephew, Ronald Jr. and his niece, Emily, as well as a host of extended family. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 8:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Fatima, Piscataway at 9:30AM. Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond's memory to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
