Obituary of Agnes Czarnecki

South Plainfield - Agnes M. Czarnecki, 88, passed comfortably at her home after a long decline from several different health issues on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Ignatius Eddie, back in 1988.
She leaves behind her daughter, Peggy Pazdro and husband Roman; son, Edward and wife Maura; granddaughters, June, Irene and Patty; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She also leaves several nephews and niece.
Agnes and her brother Gordon, "Buddy" were born in the Hook Creek section of Queens, NY to Norwegian immigrants. She married, lived in Brooklyn and settled in South Plainfield in 1953.
Agnes was best known for her avid food and clothing distribution work for the less fortunate. Whenever there was any need, it was understood that Agnes would be stepping up. She was a friend and shoulder to many. She served her church, St. Stephens Lutheran Church of South Plainfield, in several different capacities over the years, being one of it original members.
Being a lover of animals, she has never been without a cat or dog through the years.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:30AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8pm in the funeral home.

Finally rest in peace mom, after a long and fruitful life. You will be missed by many.
