Obituary of Jorge C. Javier

South Plainfield - Jorge C. Javier, 72, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 at AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Born in the Philippines, Jorge immigrated to the United States in 1978 and resided in Jersey City. In 1987, he and his family settled to South Plainfield. Jorge loved the out doors and the wilderness of Alaska and Montana. He enjoyed bow hunting Turkeys and trips to Atlantic City with his wife, Alicia and sister in law her husband. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Alicia (Quinio); two children, Maria Javier and Francisco Javier and girlfriend, Andrea Petruzzell and a host of extended relatives. He will also be missed by his two granddaughters, Analise and Siena Javier. Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 8:30AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa, South Plainfield at 9:30AM. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friend may gather for visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM in the funeral home.
