Edison - Antoinette G. Marino, 92, died on May 22, 2015 at the Whispering Knoll Assisted Living in Edison. Born in Edison, Antoinette resided in New Brunswick and Edison. After successfully completing the nursing program at the former Middlesex Hospital in New Brunswick, Mrs. Marino was an R.N. and Head Nurse at Middlesex Hospital and later at the Rutgers University Health Center also located in New Brunswick. Antoinette enjoyed working with her hands. She enjoyed activities such as gardening, knitting and crocheting as well as cooking for her family and friends. She is predeceased by all of her siblings. Surviving is her husband Angelo of 68 years; son, Raymond Marino and his wife (with two grandchildren and two great grandchildren); daughter, Susan Zavacki of Boonton and grandchildren, Timothy Zavacki, Stephanie Zavacki Lewis, Christina Zavacki Hillpot. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Natalie and Trevor Zavacki. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, South Plainfield NJ 07080. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5-8pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to the Have Hospice, JFK Foundation, 65 James Street, Edison NJ. 08820.
