Obituary of Joseph F. Rein

Joseph F. Rein South Plainfield - Joseph F. Rein, 92, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Newark, Mr. Rein resided in Irvington prior to settling to South Plainfield 60 years ago. Joseph served with the Army during WWII and was honorably discharged on December 21, 1945. He is predeceased by his wife the late Florence, his sister Elizabeth and his brother John. Surviving are his daughter Susan Rodda of North Plainfield and his son Joseph M. and his wife Deborah of Glen Gardner, his granddaughter Kristin and his great grandson Corbin Liam Lauler as well as his devoted caregiver of over 10 years Pat Wilson. Funeral Services will take privately at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
