Obituary of Deborah L. Leigh

Deborah Leigh South Plainfield - Deborah L. (Schultheis) Leigh, 50, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Plainfield, Deborah has been a lifelong resident of the Borough of South Plainfield where she attended the public schools and was a graduate of South Plainfield High School. Being a true animal lover, Deborah had been employed at the Fanwood Animal Hospital for the past fourteen years where she had been working in various capacities including reception and as a Veterinary Technician. Deborah also enjoyed music, being family oriented and most importantly, being a mother and loving her children. She leaves behind her beloved children; daughter and son in law, Jacquelyn and Sean Wilson, a son; Douglas Leigh, her parents; Sandra and William Schultheis Sr., a brother; William Jr., and a sister; Christine Potak and her husband Matthew. A memorial gathering for family and friends will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to Haven Hospice, c/o JFK Medical Center, 65 James Street, Edison, NJ 08820 or the American Cancer Society, 2600 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 would be appreciated.
