Obituary of Helen Lewis

Helen Fedock Lewis, 98 , died on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at home in Summerville, South Carolina.
Mrs. Lewis was born in South Plainfield and resided there most of her life. She also resided in Phillipsburg for seven years before moving to Green Brook in 1997 prior to relocating to Summerville, SC two years ago.
Helen worked in the assembly department at Westinghouse Co. in Edison for over 25 years. In addition, Mrs. Lewis also served as an Avon Products Representative for over 30 years.
For many years Helen played bingo in the Fire Departments in Dunellen and Green Brook. She also bowled for many years, bowling in various leagues in Middlesex and Somerset Counties
Mrs. Lewis is predeceased by her husband Robert D. Lewis, her sister Anna Bumback and by her two brothers; John Bumback and Charles Fedock.
Surviving are her 3 daughters; Margaret Mathews of Piscataway, Charlotte Mayrose of Summerville, SC and Linda McGuire of Bango, PA, 2 sons Daniel Cassaro of Lake Winola, Pa. and Gary Lewis of East Windsor. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 5-9pm.
