Beachwood - Barbara Joan Abramson, 53, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, February 18, 2013.
Born in Elizabeth, Barb resided in Edison and Freehold before settling to Beachwood.
Barbara is employed at Meridian Health in Toms River as a medical assistant. She is a member of the Manasquan United Methodist Church and to Stephen Ministry.
She enjoyed country line dancing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her father; George Ulrich Sr., she is surviving by her two children; Marc and his wife Tracey Abramson of South Plainfield and Annette and her husband Ray Smith of Beachwood, her mother; Joan Herman of Largo, FL and her brother; George and his wife Susan Urlich of Point Pleasant. She will also be missed by two grandchildren; Lillyanne and Jacob Smith.
Cremation was held privately.
A memorial service will be held on March 3, 2013 at 12:30PM in the Manasquan United Methodist Church, 23 Church Street, Manasquan NJ 08736.
