Obituary of Jean M. Braco

South Plainfield - Jean M. ( Bonczek ) Braco, 92, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Haven Hospice in JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Perth Amboy, Jean had resided in Keasby and Plainfield before settling to South Plainfield. She had various job as a cashier in her younger years and also had worked in assembly for Revlon in Edison. Jean is most proud of her family. Taking pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time caring for her home and garden as well as doing needle work, crocheting and knitting. Jean is predeceased by her husband, Anthony " Tony " Braco, her sister Stella Jumiga and three brothers, Raymond, Leo and Phillip Bonczek. Surviving are her two children and their spouses; Carole and Jim Petro and Ronald and Arlene Braco. Four grandchildren, Karen Kelly & her husband, Tim, Rick Petro and his wife, Beth and Steven Braco and his wife Rachel and Jason Braco and three great grandchildren; Alyssa, Patrick and Kaitlyn. Funeral services will begin on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, South Plainfield at 11:00 AM Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Friday 10-10:30 AM
