James N. Buchanan Flemington, NJ - James N. " Jim" Buchanan, 70, died on July 2, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Jim was born and raised in Pennsylvania, lived most of his adult life in South Plainfield, NJ prior to settling in Flemington 2 years ago. For 29 years, he had worked for the Jersey Tab Corporation in Union and later worked for Bayway Refinery in Linden for 15 years prior to his retirement. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Kathy, and three loving children; Christine McGuire & husband Leon of Lansdale, PA, Kelly Schaffer & husband Cameron of Shrewsbury, PA, and Jay Buchanan & wife Jennifer of South Plainfield. He is also survived by his six grandchildren Collin, JJ, Katie, Allison, Mac, and Charlie who adore their Pop-Pop. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 105 Summer Rd., Three Bridges, NJ 08887 with Reverend Thomas J. Serafin as the celebrant. All may gather with the family at the church prior to the mass from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday. Cremation will follow mass privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to The Paul R.
