Margaret Mary Anderson Oxford, NJ - Margaret Mary (Speno) Anderson, 90, died on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Genesis the Elder Care - The Woodlands in Plainfield, NJ. Born in Auburn, NY, Margaret was a former resident of Berkeley Heights and Scotch Plains prior to settling to Oxford in the late 1970's. She had assisted her husband for many years at their business, E. Anderson Lawn Mower Service Shop of Scotch Plains. She enjoyed knitting, working on ceramics, spending time with her family and more importantly spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Eugene, died October 1, 2003. Margaret leaves behind her three sons; Allen and his wife Cathy of Piscataway, Brian and his wife Patricia of South Plainfield and Philip of Scotch Plains. She will be missed by her four grandchildren; Allison and her husband Eric Dobos, Mark and his wife Yulia Anderson and their son Sergio; Dawn Anderson and long time companion, David Summers, and Paul Anderson. Also surviving is a sister, Carolyn McKinley of Washington State. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 beginning at 10:00 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by an 11:00 AM funeral mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in South Plainfield. Family and friends may attend the visitation hours on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 7-9 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Memorial Foundation, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860, in support of their butterfly release.
