Obituary of Kathleen Lowery

Kathleen Flannery Lowery, 47, passed away on August 12, 2016 at Robert Wood Medical Center in New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick and raised in Edison to Joseph and Gloria Flannery, she was a longtime South Plainfield resident where she raised her family before recently moving to Warren. Kathleen was a Medical Aesthetician, CCMA, with Princeton Dermatology. She took joy in riding horses and had a love for all animals. Kathleen enjoyed trips to the shops in Bethlehem and New Hope. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed the quality time spent with her children, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Flannery in 2015. Surviving are her loving mother, Gloria Schwartz Flannery, her adored children, Kara and Jason Lowery, her dear siblings, Maureen Kelly (Michael) Joseph M. Flannery, Jr.( Ruth), John Flannery (Joanne), Rosemary Makker (Louis), her life partner Vincent Mattaliano, his children whom she loved, Vincent and Jacqueline Mattaliano, and many extended family and friends . Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Thursday, August 18th at The Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
