Obituary of Teresa Perna

Piscataway – Teresa Perna, 89, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Teresa was born in Colli, Italy. In 1956, she immigrated to the United States where she resided in Orange, NJ with her husband Anthony and their three children. About twenty six years ago, Teresa and her husband settled in Piscataway, NJ. Teresa was an excellent Italian cook and enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her son, John; surviving are her husband of 67 years, Anthony Perna; two daughters Ida Ciemniecki and husband Dennis and Mary Farias and husband Michael; four siblings, Marco Raponi, Antonio Raponi, Gino Raponi and Adriana Nicoletti as well as her three grandchildren, John and Lauren Ciemniecki and Jessica Perna. Family and friends may gather and pay their respects on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 4-7PM and Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9-9:45AM in Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road Piscataway, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10AM at Our Lady of Fatima, 501 New Market Road Piscataway, NJ, followed by entombment in Hollywood Memorial Park 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue Union, NJ.
