When we moved to Piscataway in 1967 Peter was the first friend I made. We decided to be Met fans for life in 1967. And then He convinced me to become a Steeler fan after they had gone 2-11-1 because “they probably needed fans”. Snow forts, sandlot baseball, football and basketball until it was too dark to see. Teaching me how to use a slide rule to calculate our batting averages playing baseball in front of Mike Mangone’s house. Games at Shea and the Vet; wrestling at the Garden and Spectrum. Rubber band wars against Mark and Tommy Callahan. So many more memories I never tire of telling. I will miss you Pete, but you are always in my memories, which bring both a smile from remembering you and a tear from missing you. Your friend, love Andy.
